This is the view from the front door, looking into the foyer and living room. The master bedroom is on the left.
Quinn and Cara are walking through the kitchen area. Quinn told me last week that Cara is his "boyfriend." The recess on the left side is where the refrigerator will be. The hole in the wall is the walk-in pantry. Ryan will build a cabinet front that will be even with the rest of the cabinetry and refrigerator and serve as the walk-in entry for the pantry.
This is the back end of the boys' bedroom.
This is the entry of the Master Bathroom. The vanity will be on the right. The part without drywall is the shower that Ryan will tile. To the left of that is the soaking tub. The drywall in the bathroom is a different color because it is mold-resistant.
This week, the drywall guys have been doing all the tape, mud, and sanding. Ryan worked in Ohio Monday through Thursday so we anticipate a weekend of more siding work. The walls should be ready for primer on Wednesday! We have been busy making final decisions on flooring (hardwood, tile, and carpet) and paint colors.

oh Jenny, you simply must manage my finances. This is so cool what you're doing. That house is coming along beautifully and I love how Ashton and Quinn are involved in making their homestead. That's a memory they're certain not going to forget.
