Quinn was getting a litte frustrated with not being able to talk yet, so we started teaching him some signs. Here he shows you his two favorites, "milk" and "all done." Ashton has been a big help in teaching him.

Halloween Week
Our fun started on Sunday with the festival at Blue Ridge Church of Christ. Quinn wore the tiger costume Ashton wore in '04.

On Tuesday, Mommy and Ashton made Great Grammy Whiteman's sugar cookies. Maple extract is the secret ingredient in the icing. Ashton chose to make pumpkins, ghosts, and bats this year.

Daddy spent a few days in Philadelphia hoping to join in on the celebration when the Phillies won the World Series.
On Friday, we finally made it to the pumpkin patch and carved a pumpkin.

The Bouncing Brothers
Grammy and Pap Pap came this weekend to celebrate Quinn's first birthday. They brought a great new toy, a Rody horse, so Quinn can now bounce with his big brother. He loves it!

A New Venture!
Jenny and I have been talking about starting a blog for a while now. I figured we'd never do it if I didn't just go ahead and start it. So here we go! Hopefully this will be a good opportunity for you, our family and friends, to be able to keep track of what we're up to. Life goes so fast that you might miss some of our fun if we don't give you the opportunity to share with us. This is our attempt. We love you all.
