Friends and Family

This photo is from 2 Sundays ago, but it shows Ryan installing the porch roof. The two of us were able to do it in an afternoon and we're very happy with it.



This past week Jenny has been spending a lot of time obtaining tile and paint samples and trying to narrow down some choices. The painter, Josh, wants to have our paint choices so he can tint the primer; he's planning to prime the walls on Monday!



Jenny's Dad, Gary, came this weekend to lend a hand. We are very grateful for his help because Todd is allowing us to borrow his lift for a few days so we can finish the siding. Here he raises the lift, complete with his siding-cutting mask!



Ryan and Mike made it to the top of one of the side gables today. We hope to finish the front 2 gables tomorrow.



Pap Pap came complete with toys for the kids and reminded us all to take a little break today. With all this work, the days can just blur together and we forget to take some time to enjoy the process with the kids. Quinn had his first time with a ball and bat and they had a lot of fun!
